SAP Awards

Things are moving quickly at the Galler Chocolaterie! This year, we’ve been nominated as one of the 4 finalists at the SAP Awards Benelux in the category Best of Customer Success Belux for the improvement of their digital system.

This Awards ceremony was held this Thursday, 10th June, and we received the silver medal!

“The prize in question rewards all the staff for their work during the digital migration at the end of 2020. Despite the end-of-year work overload of our business, the bleak period due to the pandemic from Covid-19 and the physical distance due to teleworking, the system change-over was able to be implemented in 3 months. Proof of the effectiveness of collaborative work.”

In 2017, the old management had started an ERP implementation but had not completed the process. We’ve come a long way! For 2 years we worked on the delivery of internal processes in order to streamline the production flows to effectively meet the needs of users and of our customers.

During 2020, the idea of a switch over to a next-generation (S4/Hana) digital platform offering even more functionalities took hold within the company. Very soon, adherence to the changes developed.   In fact, in a collaborative company, a team’s project becomes everybody’s project. We will only need 3 months to perform our migration, when most companies normally take a year.

Now, we have the means of our digital ambitions (personalised reporting, rapid interface development, etc.) thanks to this revolutionary new system.
