After several challenging years, our iconic chocolaterie is opening a new chapter. A consortium of Walloon shareholders is taking over the reins, and with this transition, the soul of Galler lives on.
Founded in 1976 in Vaux-sous-Chèvremont by Jean Galler, Chocolaterie Galler is more than just a chocolatemaker. In this year 2026, it represents half a century of expertise, passion, and a Liège terroir expressed through every single piece of chocolate.
Like many companies, we have faced difficult years: the pandemic, inflation, soaring raw material prices, and the floods of July 2021. These successive shocks have severely tested our chocolaterie.
A new beginning, the same passion
Those taking over Chocolaterie Galler today do so with conviction. They are passionate believers in Belgian identity, convinced that our chocolate still has so much more to offer.
This new chapter is being written alongside our CEO, Sébastien Desclée, in office since November. He ensures the continuity and stability the chocolaterie needs to rebuild on solid foundations, for our teams and for you, our loyal customers.

What will never change is our unwavering commitment to quality. Every praline, every bar, every tablet carries the signature of a unique know-how, recognized for over 50 years far beyond our borders.
